Ha , ha thanks I sung for my teacher today and he said that I was really good. I thought I wasn't the best but he really liked it. I don't know if I'm aloud to pick a song but I have to ask him the next time I see him.

After because brushing will get rid of any food left on your teeth that the bacteria in your mouth could eat. Also, it will help your breath.

You are always supposed to brush after you eat, anything. What would be the point of brushing before if you're just going to get them dirty?

To clean your teeth. Lots of bacteria in your mouth...esp after you wake up in the morning. The bacteria turns to plaque.
Report as
But the food eats away at your teeth. So you're supposed to eat, brush, floss, then use mouth wash(to kill the bacteria). Oral hygiene 101.

U need to brush mainly before. Because when u sleep ur mouth produces less saliva. So that makes the bacteria in ur mouth double faster than any time of the day. If u don't brush then ur basically eating with a lot of bacteria in ur mouth.

Wow never knew alot of people didn't know this:/
Report as
Oh yeah because so many people get sick from the bacteria in their mouth. You brush after to get rid of food that causes decay, floss,an then use mouthwash to kill bacteria that remains.

I would recomend u brush ur teeth after word just in case u have some food left in ur teeth and so ur breath wont smell like cereal or pancakes, so after, but either, as long as ur brushing ur teeth.

Its your choice I would actually prefer to brush my after because if you brush it before your breakfast is gonna taste nasty and weird.

If you brush thoroughly at bedtime, which you should, then eat breakfast first . There is no real benefit to brush before. Brush both before and after if you want to but maybe just a warm water rinse before breakfast since mouth tends to dry out while sleeping.

The benefit of brushing (and you should be flossing!) is to brush away all the food and plaque that can build up on and in between your teeth. If you brush your teeth before you eat, your breakfast will remain in your teeth and cause bacteria to build up. The bacteria is what causes cavities! So brush (and floss!) after you eat!
