It was invented because if you hate it so much then you would have something to fail at. School is what you make of it and whether you hate it or not is all about your attitude, hang in there and do well because if you don't in 20 years from now it could be the difference between $18,000 a year and 100,000 a year...

It should be obvious to you why school was invented. If it isn't, then you need to go to school some more. It's a vicious circle.
So the government can scout your intelligence and train you with suggestive themes. Also to control what you learn about them as a group. Like said in Avatar, it's hard to fill a cup that is full, or something. Also, you can go to jail, chain event type stuff.
It is perfectly ok for you to hate school... McDonalds and Burger King always need employees too. Most people however want more out of life then to be stuck asking people if they would like fries with there order.
To get an education.. What kind of question is this?
The Romans invented school so that education would make Rome stand out. That's what I learned.......IN SCHOOL!
