Can you love one of your kids more than the other one?

Yes, a parent might say they love both or all kids equally but they all have a favorite.

No. My moms mom had favorites and the rest of the kids could see it and now they have a bad relationship with her. You need to show all of your kids that you love them equally.

I'm so sorry. My mom has just accepted the fact that she is never going to have the best relationship with her mom. She just shows her that she loves her instead of hating on her. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. I'm sorry

That's a great question, my children are grown, but you know, each one seemed to be my favorite at different stages in there development. I have a good relationship now , with all of them. And I love all of them equally, and that's the honest truth.i hope it's the same for most parents.if a parent does favor 1 child it's not planned, the"re only human. you know , children can have a favorite parent. and that can hurt the other parent. life and love is what it is. we have to deal with it, and understand. It works both ways.

I am a mother of six children and I do not love any one of my children, more than the others. I do however relate better with some of my children, more than the others. Since they are all different individuals, this is only normal and natural. In this case, as parents, we just have to strive harder to relate to the ones we do not understand as much.
