What does following a person do?

I realized that a follower cannot view the followed person's Q&A. So what is the use of following someone?

Yea they can click on connections and you can see their activity plus if your friends it's like a symbol

There is no purpose,really. It's just for keeping track of all the people you like. or their answers..... or whatever.

Click on Connections. That can show you the Q&A....But I just use it to keep track of the exceptionally awesome people.
