Hi Jan! Is it that time already? Oh my dear friend. I know you'll do well. You have the love of faith, family and friends. This friend is sending every "cyber hug" your way!
My husband had rotator cuff surgery. The bizzare unforeseen hard part was washing his hair. Who'd a thunk it?
I know you have the difficulty of surgery to bear, and the rehab time after is no fun either. Throughout it all, I will be right here sending loving thoughts your way. As a matter of fact, the prayer you sent to MJ is going to get a slight rewrite for you.
<3<3<3
Best of luck Joanie.
Agree whole heartedly with Happy2BeHere2 :) I wish you luck on your surgery, and a speedy recovery! You'll do great! <3
I know we spoke about this a few hours ago but beswt wishes from Down Under, TH.
Good thoughts and positive energy coming from the Midwest...and wishing you a speedy recovery and full use of your shoulder with no problems...;)
I care so much about you Jan and I will bs thinking of you and your speedy recovery . We will always be friends . You are always here for others and now we are here for you!!! Don't forget we're here and we love you!
Shoulder surgery--ugh! If love and good thoughts can help you heal, feel better fast, and feel the power of love, you should be floating on air right now. Those of us who know you, love you, period. And if mere humans love you for how kind and loving you are--think of how much the Universe, God, or your Higher Power loves you and is doing for you! Hugs and gentle pats from the Far West! Write soon. Tell us as Owl left a message for Pooh Bear: Bak Son.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery from the deep south. Other things I wish for you: that the surgery is not on your dominant arm, someone to help (especially for the first couple of weeks), a peri bottle and the toilet paper on the non-surgery side of the toilet, elastic waist pants, warm extra large shirts, one strap bras, extra pillows for your bed, a travel pillow just for your arm, a high quality protein diet, and finally a good physical therapist. You already have the prayers and good thoughts of a very large community. Get well soon.
Jan , you know I'm in your corner ! One of the nicest ladies on this site ! Everything will be fine and we will be waiting for your return ! All of our thoughts are with you !

Jan, I wish I had known earlier of your surgery this morning. You're probably, at this moment in la-la land. When you get around to reading this, know, that my thoughts are/ were with you.
You are the first one in this Community, that reached out to me, and for that I will always be grateful.
So along with my thoughts of a successful surgery and recovery, I send you virtual hugs ( not to tight), and many well wishes.
You go, girl! Keep strong!
Thankyou so very much. :)

I'm just glad your back. Take care of yourself and don't push it. My thoughts are with you.
I'm scheduled for Surgery Monday, so we can commiserate then.
And yes, you are Woman... I heard the Roar! ;-)
What kind of surgery are you having on Monday? You know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers if that's OK with you.
I have a Pain Pump implanted in my abdomen. December 11th, they had to do a Pocket Revision to remove scar tissue and reattach it to the Facia as it had broken free. Unfortunately, it broke free from the Facia again. So back under the knife I go.
I'm really dreading it. This will be my third surgery in 2 months time and I still have 1 more surgery they have to schedule.
Besides the pain, it's just very tiring emotionally. When Happy told me about your surgery, my heart, soul and thoughts went out to you. I honestly spent much time and reflection sending you all the positive thoughts I could. I've had a Fusion, and I knew the long road you'd have to travel. I hope you're doing ok.
Get well soon!
All my positive, healing thoughts are with you. I hope the pain is easing up a little each day.
I'm on it
I really appreciate your thoughts. I've had the surgery. I'm recovering now. I thankyou so much. :)

Oh man, Jan! I know that we've know each other for less than a week, but as a random stranger on the internet, I'll give you my greatest wishes on becoming better. You're one tough bird! Sending you the best wishes for a full and quick recovery!
But I've just had the surgery and I don't think I'm so tough anymore. UGH! This is rough.
So I really appreciate all your wonderfully kind words which I know will speed my recovery up. Thankyou so very, very much. :)

Indeed! TheHarem is respected because of the love she has for our community and it's members. To hear she is finally getting the shoulder repaired is good news, and I will pray for surgical competence, patience and healing without complications or undue pain. May she find the love and care of the Great Physician a blessing at this time!

Hi Harem, hope your op was problem free & you got a pass to go to go. So all that's left now is for your body to heal itself as it will & does. May you enjoy a peaceful recuperation with out any complications & you may need to text with the other hand so you don't sprain or strain your shoulder while it's healing. Look on the bright side =you will have lots of ask.com time on your hands while in recovery.
When I finally do come back, I'm going to make up for lost time. Lol
I'm going to miss everybody though. Thankyou so very much for your thoughtfulness and kind words. I appreciate it more than I can say. :)

Thankyou for your sweet words and prayer. I'm leaving shortly. I'll carry your thoughts with me. :)
Jan :)
Get well soon! We love you and miss you!
As I went under the knife today, the last words I said to my DR. were, "let me be as strong as Jan"!
Of course when I woke up and he asked me what I meant, I didn't even remember saying that. So I believe your prayers reached me loud and clear. Thank you.
I had a melt down this morning, emotionally. The pain is bad enough now, I'm dreading them sticking a needle in.
I'm wearing the abdominal binder but my best friend has become the pillow I'm holding against my stomach just to breath. Lol
"Please send strength for our dear friends Lynne and Jan. Surround them with your healing and comforting warmth. Ease their pain, soothe their hearts and heal their surgeries. Let your love combine with ours to help them find health and peace throughout their recuperation."
