What it really comes down to is not whether or not someone is gay. It comes down to people being treated equally. ~ It was only about 60 years or so ago that it was illegal for blacks to marry whites. Every single argument against gay marriage and equality is the exact same thing that was said against inter-racial marriage then. ~ I would definitely vote for gay rights. Why shouldn't gay folks get to have the same healthcare and tax benefits as hetero couples?
No I strongly believe that gay marriage is wrong and goes against everything in the bible about adam and eve but I also believe its your choice and who ever makes you happy then you should be with them and with that I would vote yes for gay marriage
Marriage is between a man and woman and is holy. To change this would be to pervert what the bible intended. Why cant gays be happy with a legal partnership? If they dont believe in the word of god then why try to pervert its rituals?
I see nothing wrong with it, people can love whoever they choose in my book. However, I don't like it when homosexuals start abusing people because they assume they will be opposed to their marriage, it's like backwards racism. People should believe what they believe, but shouldn't go rubbing it in peoples' faces all the time.

No here's why Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed forever. Amen. Since men chose to give up God and worship the creature, God could do nothing but give men into the control of the sinful things they preferred. When mn insist on following the depraved nature(sin nature), the natural result will be not love, but immorlity of the vilest kind

You've got to be pretty insecure to be worried about LGBTs having the same legal rights as heterosexuals. If you don't like what your seeing, then look the other way. Otherwise we slip down the slope to follow the Nazis and Al Qaeda. I think if God has a big objection he/she will handle it.
I would vote for it. This is a matter of equal RIGHTS, those rights enjoyed by the many cannot be denied to the few, or vice versa. If a particular church or religion does not want to recognize it, that is their right as private entities, however the legal and financial benefits that are bestowed upon married couples cannot be denied based upon race or sexual orientation.
I dont care but if they love eachother and fight untill people respect them i respect that and im cool with them aslong they dont touch Me i respect them and thats who they are people have to respect that cant make them be straight so...
I don't see these self-proclaimed "moral" Christians adopting orphans by the dozens. We're over populated enough as it is already. Less to feed, so that more can eat. I know many wonderful gay couples. They're diligent, productive, smart, and total opposites to the mean and nasty bible thumpers who oppose them. Heck, one of the most important person in our modern history that you don't know about was gay. He was persecuted and led to suicide for being gay. Yet we have all that we have now thanks to him. You wouldn't have such things as desktops, laptops, smartphones, or the ability to go on sites like this without him.
I would vote for it. Marriage is a legality in our world. You don't have to marry in a church, a magistrate can do it. There should be no question of "allowing" gays the same rights as everyone else. As for the so-called Christians, nobody forces churches to perform marriages, they can always say no.

Some say if gay marriage is allowed it will change what marriage is. In the U.S. that has been the case from the beginning of our nation. We have always had two types of marriage: religious (marriage sacrament) and civil (based upon secular law). Virtually every couple married in a religious institution in the U.S. had two marriages performed on that day. One was the marriage sacrament which has no force of law except within the governing body of the officiating religious institution, and the other was the civil marriage where the government-issued marriage license was signed by the cleric who had been granted authority to act as an agent of the courts. Of the two, that is the only marriage recognized by the government.
The issue of same-sex marriage only affects civil marriage. The marriage sacrament remains untouched by the government as is the law of the land. No religious institution will be required to perform, recognize, or in any way sanction same-sex marriage. Our doctrine of separation of church and state prevents them from being bound by civil rights laws, and they are free to continue excluding anyone they wish for any reason they wish.
What is so fundamentally frightening to people about gay marriage? We say we are a nation of equality, but in so many ways, it just isn't true. As long as closed-minded people can enforce their bigotry through legislation, we never will be.
There's no way I'd vote no, and in so doing, tell other people that they will never be equal to me or the rights I myself enjoy. I would vote for gay marriage.
Marriage is over rated, I vote it down. When two married people work until they both retire, One loses there Social security benefits. Stay single live your life together, and reap the benefits.all gays should consider the cost of that paper, as well as straights.Ok,bring on the fire and brimstone.
Weather a person is gay or not should not matter. The only thing thatsh ouldis thier personality. No one should be so shallow that they cant just look past people's looks, abillities, or weather they are gay or not.~ And i cant think of any reason to be against gay marrige (for all of you strong christians, nowhere in the bible does it say het being gay is a sin)
But to answer your question, yes, i do support gay marrige, i have family, and friends that are gay, and i would be nothing without some of them.
I am completely straight, but I strongly support gay marriage. It's love, and love doesn't have any limits. If two people of the same gender, want to marry each other; let alone, love each other, it's okay. A lot of these religious folks shouldn't even go by what the bible says.
