Yes! God so Loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. That whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life with Him. That's the great Love there is.

Yes, the solution to many of mankind’s problems is love. When, on another occasion, Jesus was asked which commandment is the greatest, he answered: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’”—Matthew 22:37-40.

It is not the need for better Gun Control - or- Better Mental Health Program - BUT for mankind to stop Loving-themselves more then anyone else and to stop the GREED which promotes anger from those that feel oppressed. A loving and caring (genuine) concern for our neighbor and fellow-man is what needs to be put in place.

Gun Control and any additional program outside of the quality of love is just giving society a False Sense of security and a false sense of calm. Love - true love one one another would out-do any government program you can put into place.

Humans are social animals who survive by cooperating. "Love" is a chemical reaction in the brain which most likely evolved to create stronger social bonds in the human groups, thereby preserving more individuals to pass on their genes.
