I have a problem and my mom watches me on the internet and it bothers me what should i do. can someone help me.

my mom watches me like a hawk on the internet and it bothers me.

You wont like this answer, but your mom is just being a good parent. She loves you and wants to make sure you do not get into some kind of trouble that could hurt you.

You are right about that Ms. Sherry, but all that lady has to do is set up the parental controls for internet browsing. She could free up her time then to pursue other ventures, like baking choc cookies. :)

Completely agree TRC, I was going to recommend the parental controls at least that way mom would not have to hoover all the time LOL

Dont know whether its bad sites or not.

Parental guidance...sure, but privacy is important.

): that sucks! I know how you feel though .... my mom has a program in my computer that makes it so all conversations get sent to her and my computer shuts off after an hour of Internet :/ it's like she giving me mo privacy !

Once you prove to your mom that you are responsible and trustworthy with it her interest in monitoring will decrease. Respect has to be earned and not expected

Well if you've done something in the past that broke her trust than you'll have to earn it back. If right off the bat she isn't giving you privacy than have a talk with her

One of the good ways to get out of your problem is by starting to support your own life.
You could find a job or create your own job, as long as you still ask them to pay your bills, that means they also have the right to decide when to monitor or to trust and let you go.
