Seoul, naturally since it's the capital and there's lots to see there. They have old palaces, I think there are at least 3 you'll have to look up and you can get tours of the old Korean palaces. There's also Itaewon which is use to tourists going there for knock offs and almost everyone around there speaks English. COEX is a huge underground shopping mall...kinda neat to check out. There's also Lotte World amusement park. And the National Folk village where they create an old Korean village and you get to see how they lived and the things they did in the past. There are also tours of the DMZ.
You don't want to miss Jeju island, The Hawaii of Korea. It's not that easy or convenient to get around the island via public transport, so if possible, rent a bicycle, scooter or car and use the "coastal road." It's beautiful! http://youtu.be/wPmOBo7gbZw
