I'm more of a "big-dogs-that-don't-get-lost-or-picked-up-by-hawks" kinda girl. :o

Nobody?
I knew someone who had pet rats, and I think they make good pets.
They make an even better dinner.
if sitting in a cage looking stupid makes a good pet, then yeah
Well idk I've never really been into rats because they kind of scare me but I had a hamster, and I loved him:)
who would
I do! I had a pet rat named Sniffy when I was a kid, my son had one named Harley and now my granddaughter has a pair named Daphne and Velma. Her first pair, Sunny and Cher, lived for almost five years. They are so much fun and really social!
Michael Jackson! Listen to the song called "Ben"! :)
I knew someone who had one as a pet and it made a good pet. Named him Ben, truly. (However, you may be too young to understand that reference.)
They do if you don't have cats.
They're cool for awhile but then get annoying after awhile
Me I love them. My first rat came to her name. They are so smart and great pets
Hi. I've never felt the need to "get up close and personal with one."..I"m not into albino looking things.... But I DO Have a Suggestion you may like and I LIKE. ! :)
How about a Kangaroo Rat?? I looked them up and my husband had one for a brief time when he was a kid. They are cool! Have a hopping rat of a good night! :) :)
I had a pet rat once, but I don't really remember him, cause I was really little, but his name was Blacky, but he wasn't black though. He was a very confused rat.
I suppose if you can look at a rodent as a pet, their as good as a hamster or a Ginny pig. Their easier to get to! because in America Ginny pigs don't infest the sewer's and people's homes. You need to go to a pet store and buy one.
My Chinese Zodiac is a rat, so maybe that's why I have a special place in my heart for them. I remember my first pet rat was named Kenzie. I actually got her from school. A student had pet rats who had babies and the principal let her keep them there until they found a home. I was probably in 9th grade. I snuck Kenzie home in my backpack. I remember pretending to cough every time Kenzie made a squeak. My mom wasn't happy when she found out because she's afraid of most animals and their tails creep her out. I was able to keep Kenzie and even get another rat. When they passed I didn't get anymore until I moved out of the house with my now husband. We got them almost 3 years ago. Clover and Violet. Clover has already died from old age a few days ago. They are good pets and get along with our cats. We also have guinea pigs. It's just sad rats don't live very long.
I think they make awesome pets, but personally have never owned one.
They're smart, sweet-natured, and easy to care for. Also (believe it or not) very cleanly animals--you haven't lived until you've seen a rat cleaning itself! What's not to like?
I have 1 use to have 5 but got really in to lizzards again and wanted to devote my time to them as they help with my panic and keep me motavated because soon as wake up I clean their cages and feed them. So kept blizzard who I had the longest and gave the rest to a girl I know that loves them and I know will care for them
Me But I Would Rather Have Mice Because Most People Think They Can't Do Tricks
