I'm in love with a friend who has a partner. Should I tell her?

If you really love your friend, keep it in the friend zone. Why would you want to complicate her life and interrupt her good relationship with her partner? That seems you love yourself most and is a selfish endeavor.

Personally, I would advise you to tell her. Telling her will help you to know if the friend loves you back or not. However, you need to approach her in a nice manner when telling her.

Yes, tell her.

not a good idea especially since she's involved with someone and thinks of you as a friend

I don't think so (but I can see why telling could help) that could hurt her. She is with somebody.

No. If you really love her, you'd respect her happiness with the partner she already is with. Remain friends, but treat her and her partner with respect.
Everyone is saying yes, tell her, but if you had asked, I'm in love with a married man, should I tell him, you would get resounding answers of No.
Why should it be different in this circumstance!?

That's not true of me. There's nothing wrong with expressing love. And people can make choices. It's their life.

FunnyLittleFrog, I'm very sorry if you were offended. I was not speaking of you or your answer, actually, I don't usually read the name of who wrote what.
I was speaking directly to the person who asked. It was kind of coded, as the person never used the word, Gay. This issue occurs frequently in the Gay Community as we tend to know a lot of the same people and it causes a lot of undue drama.

You should tell her if you want to confuse her, make her mad, make her angry..... Or you just keep it to yourself and when the time is right ( like when she does NOT have a BF) tell her.

Ide say no because its a little like third wheeling, and if u really loved he/she u would respect whats important to him/her but if u like tht awkwardness by all means tell him/her :P
