How do I talk to a person on the IRS phone system?
After attempting to file my taxes through freefile, I got a rejection email, it said the issue was, "Internal reject" My name has changed this past year and does not match my W2 from the job that I quit before I got married, I think that has something to do with it. I didn't get any other information as to why it was rejected. No code, nothing. When I call the IRS, none of their menu options apply to me. None of the FAQs help either. In my email it just says to fix it and send it again, but I don't know how to fix it. Do I just request an updated W2 even though my name changed after leaving that cpompany?
