So what's the answer?
Report as
Shhh. Don't tell anybody, but it's actually possible!
A decades ago the Nazis were developing technology to make their soldiers undefeatable. It almost worked. Almost. Then the technology was lost in a deadly explosion. Nobody has been able to recreate it.

Really!!!!

No, not at all.

That I called near heart failure
Report as
Actually the heart did fail. If a paramedic wasn't next to him when it happened he would be dead.

In which case the Apocalypse would be occuring.
Report as
Zombie to be exact......
Report as
Well, I was sort of referencing to the fact that the only time Jesus is supposed to return is when the Apocalypse is happening. I was more talking about the Biblical Apocalypse (you know, four horseman and the Rapture and what not)
Report as
Fine then dont use your imagination..
Report as
Mentioning the zombie apocalypse does not use imagination. There are thousands of books, films, tv shows, etc. on it. There's only so much about Jesus returning!
Report as
Plus, Trying2StaySane probably believes in Jesus, so . . . . .
Report as
Well, he was crucified and rose from the dead.
Report as
Yes. And if Jesus returned, the Apocalypse would happen.
Report as
Wish it would hurry up and happen already.
Report as
I dissagree with you. I like Earth.
Report as
Well, me too.. Its the struggle and strife that get me though.
Report as
There r no such things as zombies

Yes it is! Jesus brought Lazarusback from the dead. The scripture also states “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

Jesus tends to defy the laws of nature.
Report as
Haha, just because someone wrote it in a book doesn't make it true. If Jesus can do it, then why aren't people raising from the dead today?

Is your name by any chance Jerry Garcia? If so, how "Grateful" are you feeling NOW pal? :D
Report as
Wow! that sounds personal. lol
Report as
To kwojcik: Nope nothing personal, just a chance to be a smart-ass. I have a hunch Jerry is doing just fine. Even if he aint feeling a thing, his name is probably going to live on a hell of a lot longer than my own, or my alter ego's Jebidiah Crackercorn. (Or is he just a Doppleganger? Whoa!) Am I Jebidiah Crackercorn? Or...Is he...Me??? (I need Jerry Garcias version of the 1980's version of Twighlight Zone theme song played now. WHAT?? YIKES! I hear that now, and I will be in some DEEP psychological "doo doo") You know I could be JERRY RIGHT NOW on a bad trip. Jerry/Jebidiah? Ya think?
Report as
That actually makes sense. One (or both) of us is in deep doo doo, for sure. xD

I like to keep an open mind, but I have to say I've never heard of anyone coming back so far. And it would have made the news, I'm sure.

Well, that's not brain dead. I assume by 'dead' she/he means DEAD dead.

Than no and anyone saying the power of Christ can do it needs to have a reality check

Actually a human form of rabies could take over the brain causing only it to come back later the nerves so that they could move so ya it could happen

Scientifically, no. At least not yet!!!!! >:D
However, in many religions people have been raised from the death. For example, Lazarius was. (view Safai's answer)
However, it should be noted that those miracles were done by Jesus, and Jesus likes to mess with the laws of physics and stuff.
So without some devine, omnipotent deity of some sort, no, it is impossible to raise someone from the dead.
Currently.

wow i am shocked on those answers, you should YouTube this, i think there is reincarnation, there is enough proof for me to belive that, but if you mean coming beck from the dead in the same body you just lost then i don't think so once the body is dead you as a spirit cannot use it anymore. unless it's parts work! :)

There is a web page full of testimonies from people that had died, and were revived. Some had interesting stories. Here it is.

To die your heart, and lungs don't work. My science teacher broke his neck while diving and drowned but was brung back.

People have actually died on the operating table and came back. There are books on people's personal testimonies. A popular one was called Embraced By the Light. Whether they did or not is not for me to judge. But I find it interesting...

People think I'm kidding but

The most familiar case is that of the man who is the subject of Wade Davis' 1985 book The Serpent and the Rainbow, the Haitian man Clairvius Narcisse. In 1962, Narcisse was about 40 years old when he checked himself into the hospital complaining of pain and difficulty in breathing. Two days later he was dead, and his official death certificate is on file. His body lay in the morgue for 24 hours (in unsurvivable refrigeration) until his family collected his body and buried him in the family plot. 18 years later, Narcisse suddenly identified himself to his sister in the street and told a shocking tale. After three days underground, his coffin was suddenly opened. He was beaten, gagged fand dragged away to face two years of slave labor on a sugar plantation, as one of many similarly imprisoned zombies. He reported being in a dream state with no willpower the whole time. Finally another zombie killed a captor with a hoe, and the zombies all escaped. Narcisse wandered for sixteen years, afraid to return home, convinced that his brother had been behind the plot. Then, upon his brother's death, he visited his sister.

But there's more to the story....

Yes! My grandma died twice, because someone gave her the wrong medication and i forgot what was the other reason. she was in hospital for 2 years My grandma suffered :c She has a metal plate in her foot which makes her unable to walk but she is unstoppable haha, no one can stop her from walking and going to the stores. Thank god she's still alive. I would still be sick if it wouldn't be for her. I love my grandma:)

Yes. My grandmother has been through 3 open-heart surgeries, and during the first one, her heart actually stopped for several minutes. She was officially pronounced dead, but the team of operators continued to work on her. They brought her back to life, and she is still living today.
