yes but it is hard to explain the difference, and it has a lot to do with what part of Canada and/or America someone is from... there are several distinct accents in America depending on where you live, NewYork, Boston, Southern, Texan, Midwest California/West Coast etc. If you are familiar with them you can often pinpoint at least the area someone is from if not the state and if you are REAL familiar with them you can often pinpoint what part of the state or even part of a city Bronx vs Brooklyn for example :) It's that way in Canada too a Ontario accent differs from a British Columbian accent

I think Canadians have a different mannerism which makes sense because every country has its little differences. I have noticed some Canadians for example may say how was your day ... O it was good "A" ,but not after every word of course.
