Is there something in the Bible which says there should be a clear distinction in what a man and woman wear today besides Deuteronomy 22:5?
This is pertaining to the way society views clothes as male or female.
First I would assume I must ask the question: does the Bible teach us that what we see as male or female clothing should be segregated as such? Second: if there is such teaching against women wearing man's clothes, and men wearing women's clothes according to societal standards then is it wrong to do this as Christians? Third: has society done us wrong by thinning the distinct gap between men and women by introducing uni-sex clothing?
Also, Is society morphing the genders in a subliminal way? Through the television shows that I watched when I was younger I was swayed to think a certain way.
I guess what I'm ultimately asking is if God wants a distinct difference in the way a male and female dress according to the Bible, and is society trying to change that.
