Doubt is kind of the opposite of faith. I used to doubt. But once I received the Holy Spirit that changed, I KNOW. You are talking about doubting God right? Doubting gives way for Satan to enter. What exactly are you asking on doubt would help us to answer better.

In Luke 22: 31-32 The Lord told Peter, Simon Simon, behold , Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you that you Faith fail not and when you are converted, strengthen your bretheren. This portrays a glimpse into the spirit world, which was very similar to the same request made by Satan concerning Job. Satan tempts in order to bring out the bad, while God test in order to bring out the good; the simple truth is God, at times using Satan as His instrument in addressing character, causes men to seed God's Holiness rather than their own. Satan's attack is always delivered against Faith, for if that fails all fails. Tradition says that for the rest of Peter' life He could not hear a rooster crow without falling upon his knees and weeping, but doubting does not mean we need to be saved again, but rather coming to the path of trust and dependance on the Lord, instead of on self; that lesson learned, one is then able to strenghthen their brethren.
When We Doubt, Faith Decreases Accordingly. Increased Fear Is Usually Present During These Times of Doubt. Fear Con- rains The W o r d E a r. Increase Your Level Of H e a r I n g Of T h e Word of God Builds St r o n g Fa I t h.
I believe it's only natural to doubt our faith when things don't work out well for us, or we see so much turmoil around us. That's when we should pray to have our faith restored, regardless of how defeated we might feel at the time.
