Ellisnation, The fact that you are asking this question means that your priorities are changing, because you are becoming like Him! You are desiring righteousness now, and its an Amazing transformation, right? All you should do is pray that God will continue this great work in your life, and that He will keep you away from temptation, and deliver you from evil, so you can resist the things that Satan puts before you! I wish you the very best, and I'll see you in the clouds! Bye!

Hi, Beth! What's new? On DT, I was so afraid Cora and Robert(?) would quit loving each other. I just loved it when they cried and hugged each other at the very end. The Dowager is so wise. I want to be just like her.
I so adore her witty asides. And who can argue with her? She is the Dowager after all.
At church on Sunday evenings the Sexton is the cook. When it's warm out he grills hot dogs and hamburgers.
When it's cold he makes casseroles.
People bring side dishes or deserts.
He makes salads. Youth groups meet afterwards. The Rector has a class for the adults. Some of the adults sit around and talk. That ls what I do.
(Oh, we have a short service first.)
It's nice. More soon. Claire

Give up the hoax of sins. WHo invented what will be called sins this century. They sure aren't the same things that were sins in centuries past. Remember reading what a terrible sin it was to help a slave run away from his owner. Is that still a sin? I bet not since there aren't slaves any more. So worry not little lamb. God is not mad at you. God is not willing that any should perish. It says in the Bible if you care to read it.

Are you making excuses for why it would be all right "just this once" when you are about to do something you know you shouldn't? A lot of people do that, "just this once". Try to teach yourself that "just this once" is in fact "once again" and back away. It's hard; breaking bad habits (I say "habit" since you say you keep doing it) is always hard but it can be done. Plus, as a Christian, don't you believe that your god is always watching and sees every "just this once." Who, then, are you fooling?

Perhaps you should be prayed for to receive the Baptism Of The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will give you power to overcome sin. God Bless!

1. You re not savd until you re in heaven with the Lord. 2. Your relationship with God is personal. I hope when you say you confes, you mean that you tell it to God in prayer alone in your room. 3. Jesus died for you. By His blood, you re purified. The Bible says 7 times falls the just, 7 times they are lifted. 4. To not keep backsliding, make your relationship with God more intimate, or better. Take one day, and during that day, do God related things. Instead of going out, stay home, read the Bible, pray, sing songs that talk about God in a good way. All day long. If you make it, you will feel new strengths to resist sin. Gby

Ell, you're doing what you're supposed to. When you slip you take it to Christ. Perhaps changing people, places and things would help. Hang out with fellow Christians. Keep reading the bible and pray for guidance. You'll get there!! God bless!

Sanctification. Your mind is still carnal. Study Gods word and learn how He thinks. Transform your mind.
As for the sin, its not an issue anymore. Jesus became sin with the sin of the world and took it away. God doesn't see your sins anymore. If you are in Christ, all God sees is Him.

God will forgive you, but you must be committed to stopping your sinful behavior! Stop and figure out why you are committing these particular sins. Then figure out a way around them. You may have to avoid certain friends or places you hang out, or whatever is leading you down this path. You didn't give us much information, so it's hard to advise you. Just remember that Christ was willing to die for you! What are you willing to do for Him?

Romans 7 explains that we want to stop sinning but we cant .. Its hard to understand ... But try.. God can help you... 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
I WISH I HAD ANOTHER VERSION OF THE BIBLE FOR THIS VERSE. READ IT IN THE MESSAGE OR LIVING BIBLE

Keep persevering, stay strong in His Word. Keep Praying.
Perseverance is so important. None of us have reached Christ's perfection otherwise we'd be out healing, casting out demons & preaching all over & we'd be KNOWN. Just like Christ was in his day. We that are trying & persevering & becoming stronger day by day are his sheep, we follow the Lamb wherever he goes. God will get you there. But it will be by his Spirit, not by our own strength. Don't give up. Pick yourself up daily, dust yourself off & try again, learn from before & ask God to keep you maturing. We are all sinners, but remember we have been covered with the sacred blood of the Lamb, Gods sees a heart that yearns for righteousness.
May Gods peace, strength & love cover you all the days of your life. Amen.

1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." What an incredible promise! God forgives His children when they sin if only they come to Him and in an attitude of repentance and ask to be forgiven. God's grace is so great that it can cleanse the sinner from his sin so that he becomes a child of God. Even when we stumble, we can be forgiven still. Grace is how we live, how we are saved, how we are sanctified, and how we will be kept and glorified. Let us receive grace when we sin by repenting and confessing our sin to God. Why live a sinful life when Christ offers to make us whole and right in the eyes of God?

I know how this feels. Before I found Jesus, I did things I wish I didn't. Only recently I feel like going back to my old ways. It's hard, but I am trying. I think we need to seek out fellow Christians to talk to. God is there when we need Him and when we think we don't.
