What does this mean? "Love comes singly and leaves accompanied".
I might be stupid asking this, sort of , kind of obvious question.
"Love comes singly" - You come to a relationship alone. "and leaves accompanied" - through the relationship you become a part of a couple. It means you were by yourself, but now you are not alone.
It's a little hard to say without context. My interpretation is that people fall in love on their own, but love is lost by both people and then they decide to break up.
You go into the relationship alone but when you leave you take something with you as Janis Joplin would sing "Take another piece of my heart now baby".
I don't know... I don't understand love... :p
