How to gain weight?

So I was born premature and was in the hospital for a long time anyways I'm 16 and weight 90 pounds.. One of my friends thinks its unhealthy.. and there is this rumor going around that I'm anorexic when I'm not... so how can I gain weight without looking fat? I mean like at lunch I don't really eat bc I'm not hungry.. but my friends make me eat anyways.. how to gain weight?

How tall are you? I'm underweight and what I do is eat more protein and exercise to gain muscle. Good luck!

That doesn't seem too underweight. You should be at 100 lbs I think. I'm 30 lbs underweight so I have to try harder XP Just exercise and eat a little more and you'll do fine ^__^

If you visit your family doctor he can prescribe you something that will lower your metabolism, if that's any help :) x

When you gain weight,byou want to do it the healthy way. Eat healthy foods and excercise. This will help you gain muscle. Don't forget about fats and oils because your body needs a little of that too.

Work out so you can gain muscle, and eat more! (no more skipping out on lunch) You can ask your doctor what you should be eating specifically- just eating a bunch of McDonalds is not the right way to go.

Ok thanks! And haha mc Donald's eww more like Subway.. But it's kinda hard to eat when ur not hungry and my friends sometimes don't have food so I give them mine but they say I shud eat my lunch

You're welcome & I agree McDonalds is gross >_< If you exercise you might be hungry more often! I know I am lol. During cross country/track season I feel like I'm always eating lol x)

Do it the right way and gain weight in muscle, not fat. Try eating a lot of protein and carbs and work out a lot.

for 5 feet tall that's not too underweight. it wouldn't hurt to gain a few pounds but If you don't want it to be fat gain muscle, eat lots of natural protein (meats) and lift weights!
I'm a recovering anorexic so I have been gaining weight recently.

along with all the exercise being suggested, remember not to just eat protein and exercise, also eat a balanced diet, but before you take random strangers advice on the internet, talk to your doctor, theyre the pro
