A whole lot that weren't made in the USA or Canada. Not all for sure, but they have to meet USA standards for everything> I bought a Renault in Panama and wanted to drive it home to Tennessee,, but couldn't because I would have had it tested to see if it passed all the Federal Standards and the tests would cost about $25,000 for a $11,000 car! And that was just the cost of the tests, if it didn't pass any of them there would have also been the cost of making the car compliable, which I know it wasn't. Hope that helps
