Why do I hear whistle like sirens that nobody else can hear?

I like to think that I'm "Marvelous Minded." I'm enlightened in ways that I know nobody around me could possibly understand. Occasionally I hear sirens. These aren't everyday sirens that you hear for weather warnings, or military sirens. These sirens are far unique to the rest. It sounds almost like a whistle, but at much lower octaves to that of a human, dog, or man made whistles. It almost sounds as though a leather rope is being quickly, and aggressively swung against high winds (If that makes any sense.) Every time I hear it, though. I feel like I should be somewhere, but I can never place it. When people are around me and I hear it, they always say they haven't heard anything. I'm not trying to seem all self philosophical, but I know there HAS to be something to it. It feels like I'm missing something all the time. Like there's secrets in this world that I'm meant to know. There has to be somebody else who hears these sirens. Somebody else who feels the need to follow them, just as I do. I've searched the web numerous times for the answer, but it's never found. I just want answers. If anyone can help, anyone at all. . .

1. Get over yourself. "marvelous minded," really..? How old are you? Don't worry, most teens go through this "personal fable" phase where they think they're extremely unique, have feelings that no one else has felt, or have insight that no one else does.
2. Are you usually in very noisy settings? Or do you listen to music at a very high volume? Maybe it's a sign of hearing loss. Get your ears checked out pronto.

Does age really matter..?

Yes, personal fable is a teenage thing. Either that or he's just arrogant.

It is not possible to hear things that others can't. This can also be caused by earring problem. If the ear drum has a disorder or an infection, similar sounds are common and it is important to see a doctor before you get a serious earring problem.

I'm not opposed to all these kinda things at all, but since there are psychological disorders with exactly the same symptoms for the same type of personalities, I would make sure it's not the case. In fact, sometimes I worry about myself that maybe I become delusioned and not understand it!

I don't know if this is what you're talking about but a lot of people sometimes get a little whistling sound in their ear. It eventually goes away.

God chooses a very short amount of people to hear these sirens.. They could be angel horns.. they are very unique sounds.. Sometimes these sirens are bad and some are good. But this could be that little annoying whistle in your hear but it goes away ;)

The same thing happened to me at my old house! But they werent sirens. They were like, church bells and no one else in my family could hear them. They would start after school at home and in my bedroom when I was on the computer, or trying to fall asleep. There was no churches nearby. well, none that the bells would be that loud but It scared me! I don't have a explanation for it unfornunately :( But these bells don't happen anymore for me since I moved away from that house and never heard those bells again :)

Wow dude I'm so with you on this. I know exactly what you're hearing. In fact your explanations of the sirens nails it!!! So cool. Do the voices in your head tell you things like mine do too?

The is a topic based on earth vibrations. Peoples reports vary from ringing to humming to almost vibratory in nature. Some bodies are more sensitive than others. Look under earth hums, constant ringing and sounds of the midwest. I vaguely remember the article was in the Smithsonian magazine.
