Would you date someone with scars from self injury?

If they are scars, then it's behind them. It would depend on the personality of the person, how we interacted, and his approach to life if I dated him. The scars would not be the deciding factor.

well since I have those scars myself, yes. I understand what pain they must have gone through in the past, and I never judge any person who has those scars. I hate when people judge those who have them.

No reason why I wouldn't, especially if I knew it would help them recover...I personally see no reason to not date someone because they have scars, I have scars too, just different types.

Sure, why not? If they'd stopped, I don't see a problem. However, if I found out that my boyfriend is a cutter, I'd probably tell him to stop being an idiot. This is mostly because he knows my opinion on self-harm and suicide.

Yes , of course people who may do such a thing it just means that they need someone to talk to you and just want to be loved. I would never judge them for such a thing.
