Well I was into fighting before even then but I didn't get a serious beat down I just lightly boxed with the people I grow up around. As for kids fighting each other, I'm all for people fighting each other if it's safe and there's rules so I guess it's not that bad unless they're trying to kill or seriously hurt each other. Also adult supervision and protective equipment would make it pretty safe so as long as there's all that I'm okay with it.
Just googled this because I didn't believe it. Not sure about the 5 year old thing but the whole idea is disturbing. Kids suffer enough without ignorant parents. I'm just shocked at the continuing and rapid decay of society. But it's been predicted....
I think its very disturbing!! If you ask me its parents living vicariously through their kids lives!!! You see this a lot in all kinds of sports, its those parents that are yelling at the refs!! Or their kids!!
I have all boys, try getting them to stop fighting. My kids started wrestling at age 4, try keeping them away from the gym. Safety is paramount, followed by fun & learning. Handled correctly, I don't have a problem letting my boys be boys
It's fine there is so many safety features that not even Darwin's law can take effect but I think they should take out the safety equipment so that all these violent children have a chance to die before becoming murderous adults or as how our worlds going murderous teen and preteens which gets me on the subject of violent video games that teach you to fire weapons.........
Well I have never seen this, is it street fighting or martial arts?
I think it is very good to get children involved in martial arts at a young age. It teaches them discipline, its a HUGE mental exercise, they enjoy doing it, and its a good physical outlet. There are plenty of young children who compete in their respective disciplines, and since no one really gets hurt (unless one is really mean, or the one getting hurt is just too stubborn to tap out), its a good place for children to learn and to showcase their skills in a real competitive environment.
If this show is just throwing untrained kids in a cage and expecting them to box it out, I do think that that is incredibly stupid and has no real purpose.
Wow. I am at a total loss on this one. I have never heard of this before and I hope I never have the misfortune of seeing it. Putting a child in a cage to fight is absurd. I don't even put my dog in a cage. Safety or no safety, there are many other ways to keep children occupied and their energy levels high by doing something constructive. Karate, swimming, dance, etc, etc, etc.
