What does feed a fever starve a cold mean? And is that the right order?
Or is it starve fever feed a cold?
I am very confused.

the idea is to get your fever up enough, by keeping you warm with blankets and such, because bacteria and viruses cannot survive in that type of hot enviroment, so when it gets too hot, it "starves" the virus until it dies and your body returns to normal temperature, unfortunatly this can become a two edged sword, because if your fever gets too high it can be very dangerous, but i suppose that is a neccesary quirk in the immune system.

When you get sick your body will react with a fever. The fever creates a hostile environment for the virus or bacteria, which will kill it more quickly. Unfortunately, a fever can also be counterproductive as a too high fever is very dangerous for you.
