Well, where I live every one is wearing huge colorful bows. Shirts that are short in front and long in the back.the jeans/shorts that are split in half, and is two different colors. For hair straighten it but put a few curls in the front. Baggy shirts tighter bottoms or the other way around. The shorter types of sun dresses that are crinkled and tight at the bottom and baggy on top with a solid design usually with leggings of like orange skinny jeans. Baby tees are coming back. Most people only wear eyeliner and mascara, but your choice. Converses with the superheroes on them. Lace up boots in black or bright colors. A lot of people are wearing an equal amout of each color group, which is just 2 dark colors 2 bright colors to give an equal combo. If you wear eyeshadow a lot of people are wearing a light yellow-green, but not with a yellow or green clothes item, it's ment to bring a unique feel. Don't overdo one color. Check out thrift shops since they have clothing that most people don't see often. I know I kept saying people over and over. But be yourself, and don't spend hundreds of dollars on buying these things. I'm assuming your a girl
I've never been one for trends and fads...they go out of style too quickly. I stay with the basics...a selection of good jeans in a variety of colors, short and 3/4 length sleeved tees that can be dressed up or down, slacks in basic colors, pullover tops for day and evening, and shoes on neutrals. I accessorize with earrings and bracelets. Makeup is light with a hint of blush, eye shadows to match my outfits, a little liner and mascara. My hair is auburn with golden highlights and mid-length...kind of a Diane Sawyer layered cut. My personal fashion trend stays in style for years and I dress in what makes me feel comfortable.
