My children's school hates me and said my children can't read and refuse to let me prove and threatened to leave them back tho they read

they read newspapers I started them on your baby can read we also have iPods tablets leapsters laptops newspapers books and speak and spells etc and they even read my diary/notes when I'm not looking they're in kindergarten and 1st grade and the school has been giving them what they call "baby books" six page books like.. the cat sits the dog sits the bird sits the owl sings the end.. and all year they've been annoyed by it not being challenging to them I had them take the gifted and talented test as my youngest daughter teacher noted on her last report card that she was gifted now since the principal dislikes me I think they're taking it out on my kids in an attempt to get me to switch schools what can I do?

I would suggest you try to cut back on the emotions and work with them toward the goal of getting the best education possible.
If a child may be functioning below level, as the teacher suggests, then you can ask that they be evaluated by the special ed department. That way you get a new person who is highly trained. Then you discuss appropriate lessons to reflect their level, and whether or not they need an Individualized Education Program (I.E.P.).
If the school is unwilling to work with you, you may need to speak with the Superintendent. Going to the school board, would be you final recourse.
Just remember, stay calm and work together to problem solve. Keep words like "hates me" out of your conversations with them. It's counterproductive.
Good luck!

Oh good. It should work out then. There are lots of steps you can take! Getting other people involved will help too, like the testers. Hopefully, they can give you the facts everyone needs.
Kindergarten and first grade are adorable ages! My kids are grown, but I'm having fun with my 4-year-old granddaughter!

I really hate that principal now, whoever he or she is. Ok so tell them to let you prove that they can read. Like get the state involved, or court.ni know this sounds serious, but if they threaten you, it's like a police case. And if they aren't letting you prove your kids can read, then go to class with your kids everyday and sit with them and make the teacher angry. Something like thAt. I hope this helps.

The school has told me I'm not welcome in the school and they will call police if I come stating I blocked a parent from taking a picture during a performance and therefore may not enter due to safety issues.. Which is a lie as I video taped the event

I would switch schools and start fresh. Even if you somehow prove to them that the teachers are wrong & you are right there will be such a negative history between you and the school and it will be your kids that pay for it.

I have never heard of a parent having to prove their child can read in order to stay in a school they've already been accepted in ... The school is better equipped to assess the level of learning abilities or disabilities of their students ...THAT's their job. The children have to be able to perform skill testing to the standards recognized by the school (not your own) to determine whether or not they will pass into the next grade.

This sounds like there is more to the story .. because there are two sides to EVERY story. My only suggestion is to ask to have them tested. If they are not up to standards, there are other options to help them progress..ie: hiring a tutor for instance.

And suggesting that 'the school' ..'hates you" .. is rediculous...not to mention a little over dramatic. They may not agree with your standards .. because they have their own, that are probably mandated by the school board. Disagreeing with you .. is not 'hating' you. They are probably just trying to keep within the boundaries set for them to follow by the board.

They say my children can't read anymore than two and three letter words when they pronounce words like actually something or practically ... So yeah they despise me I believe

I don't get the connection .. between your children's accademic level and how they 'feel' about you. What does one have to do with the other?
