All water contains salts ( dissolved chemicals) the oceans of the world are the final depository of these salts. Since evaporation continually recycles water the process leaves behind these heavier salts except in very small amounts, erosion from rain carries these salts out of lakes and down rivers to collect in the oceans.
Salt originates in the ground. Rivers take the salt from these deposits and carries them to the ocean. The water in the ocean that was carried by the rivers is eventually evaporated and falls as rain leaving the salt that it once carried, behind in the ocean. P.s. I believe in god too, but there is a scientific answer to all problems.
