How can you avoid stress?

I taught myself a form of meditation that I made up, involving imagining putting all your worries into a big bag, then tying up the neck of the bag really tight and throwing it into a corner. It actually works, I feel noticeably calmer afterwards. This might help you.

Sleep, take pills of sort, go to a kids help phone.. And just try and take your mind off the situation.

You cannot avoid stress, it is part of life, the question is, can you adapt to it? can you roll with the punches it gives and learn to cushion some of them? The answer to this question is, yes, of course you can. Take a deep breath, look on the bright side of things, and if necessary, beat the everliving out of a piece of wood or something inanimate, until all the stress and such is gone, you have to just let it go, let it slide right off of you.

the best way is to go for a walk and to the park or just around the neighborhood and distract your self from your problems ! hope it helps

Theres no possible way of avoiding stress but u can eliminate the things that give you stress once thats out of your way everything will seem normal.

We live in stressful times. This is hardly a surprise because the Bible predicted that these would be times hard to deal with. (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Although controlling stress may be easier said than done, there are both practical suggestions and Bible principles that can help you. Stress is a modern-day fact of life; you cannot avoid it. You can, however, learn to cope with it. Following the principles of the Bible can definately help you. If you feel overwhelmed by a situation, remember the scripture at (Proverbs 18:24). Talk things over with a mature friend or with your marriage mate. The Bible also speaks of caring for your own needs(Ecclesiastes 4:6) Setting aside some time for yourself can make a big difference, even if it is just a few minutes. Moderate exercise and a healthful diet are also helpful. The Bible helps us to develop qualities needed to cope with stress, such as a mild temper, patience, and kindness. (Galatians 5:22, 23; 1 Timothy 6:11) The Bible offers hope of a coming new world when all of the things that promote human misery will be no more (Revelation 21:1-4) So it would help to cultivate the habit of reading the Bible daily as well.

Don't sit around moping about a project you have due. That is stressful, and besides, you can use that time to actually work on the project.
