How do I solve this?

5y-2x=10

Please help! Thanks(:

That's kind of complex. That's saying that each term equals the two others.
If that's true, then 2x-5y=10
and 45y-2x=10. Use the elimination method to solve for y (add the two equations). so 40y=20, y=1/2. Plug it into one of the original equations 2x-5(1/2)=10
2x-2.5=10
2x=12.5
x=6.25
Answer: (25/4,1/2)
