So, first new car... help choosing please?

i will be financing this new vehicle, i want a brand new car, under $450 a month, the cheaper/month the better, but i still want decent horsepower, a mid sized/smaller sedan/possibly 2 door if it comes with back seats and possibly a hatchback version and just an overall nice interior/exterior/engine. i was thinking, Honda Civic Si, Mazda 6 sport, Honda accord/ not sure which version, possibly sport/maybe v6 coupe. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE REGULAR FUEL ON A USUAL BASIS. as much as i don't mind the occasional filling with premium, i don't want to be throwing away money for gas, but i still want a fun first car that will get me to work every day, look very cool inside, probably stick shift, doesn't matter which, i will learn, look nice outside, and get me to my friends colleges that are all within a 2-2.5 hour drive from my house, any help is some help, give me your opinion, it makes a difference, plus some info about cars would help if you have the time, im not so much of a car guy. and i could definitely use the knowlege. i was thinking honda si, accord, toyota camry, mazda 6, mazda speed 3, of course ill go with anything that meets my qualifications

Must be nice. I would definitely recommend a Jeep Wrangler.Fun and very functional, they last forever and you can trick them out.

Looking more for speed or...? A straight six Wrangler is surprisingly fast and tough as nails.I'm pleased with mine,I figured I throw it out there.

ill think about it, its not so much speed, as i want to be able to fit 5 people in my car without them making it a mess but i want good gas milage like 26-30+ would be great, and i also want as little msrp as possible, so possibly a car that i wont have to insure as a "sports car" but still look somewhat sporty/perform like one

My Jeep fits 5 easy, hatch back hard top,can take it off or put on a soft top, greast gas mileage and only runs on the cheap gas.look into it.

Toyota corollas are very decent on gas. My driver instructor drives one and loves it.

This might be your first new car, but looks like you are going to set yourself up for some hefty payments for 4 or 6 years, right?
I'd say try to put more money down and look at your other expenses down the road: are you not giving your budget enough room to put money into savings?
I'd look for reliable, good gas mileage, and about $100 a month less on the payment. Good luck.
