Did I ask him out or did I *ask him out*?
I'll try to make this as short as I can.
There's this guy at work I'd always thought was cute, and whatever, but we never had any real conversation. he complimented my new haircut. For some reason that flipped a switch and I've been like a dumb obsessive school girl since then. I'd asked other guys at work what they knew of him, but all I got was a name. i didn't see him again for 3 weeks, so when I saw him yesterday, words just started coming out of my mouth - "I hope you don't think of me as a weirdo or creeper or anything, but would you wanna go get a drink or play pool sometime?" He said he'd thought I'd quit and he had been trying to find another employee who might have my number. So I gave him my number and he texted me after work. The first thing he said was "That was was cute how you asked me out, btw." Conversation since has revealed mutual interest/attraction. Soooo, Did he mean that in the most general sense of the phrase? If not, where does that leave me? Are we "dating"? Should I ask him to clarify that next time we talk? Or should I just stop freaking out and let it happen? Cause, well, I'm an expert at freaking out. And no, I'm not 13, he just makes me feel that way. I'm actually in my mid 20s. Anyways...
