We are a family here...we may disagree on one subject but we will laugh and get along on other subjects. There are the occasional few that don't understand that and CONSTANTLY poo their diapers....but oh well!
I have met more people around of the ages of 12-19. I agree there is no need to be rude.
People are offensive over the internet, a lot of times they dont even realize how offensive they sound. Like, religious questions are possibly the worst. People are trying to show wat they believe and it just gets nasty.
Lots of us are very polite, seasoned, and knowledgable. I must admit that if a question or answer smacks of intolerance or racism, I can be quite direct. Welcome to Ask. Most of us have made good friends here, and there is lots of room for humour, compassion, and education. I am in Helixaqua's family.
Dustee, how are you doing?
Patricia, nice to see you here.
Welcome to Ask ! There is a lot of that stuff here ! You'll learn to just ignore it and move on . Myself , I stay away from Politics and Religion questions , because there is almost always an argument ! Learn to give helpful votes to people who give you a good answer and avoid the dummies ! Have fun !
I think you're incorrect about most of the people being adults. I usually only answer with a stupid comment when the question asked is unbelievably idiotic. And I try to be somewhat funny when I answer most questions. Some people just may not get my humor and find it offensive. The only thing I get real upset about is when there is horrendous spelling and grammar issues.
There are A LOT of underage users on Ask.com. There are teenagers, preteens, and immature adults as well. Seeing as this is an online forum, arguments pop up a lot.
Ask.com is actually one of the most friendly sites you could find!
Haha I wish... Most of us are teens... And teens and be awfully mean sometimes... I'm sorry... Give me 3 years... Honestly I prefer talking to adults for answers...
Because some here think no one else should have their own opinion, funny thing is, they ask us for it, but don't want to listen and only want to argue or be ugly. I just move on, it's not worth the drama, there's always someone else on another post you can be have fun posting to.
Is called trolling gives u more likes
.but they r some rude people but a lot likes to troll
I'm not sure that most of us on Ask are adults (literally or figuratively), but like others have said, the anonymity of the Internet tends to make discussions and debates turn into arguments too easily. But even with all the ugliness I have endured here, I have learned a lot and made great friends--even amongst those with whom I have had strong words over particular issues. And I have had many occasions to lol at my computer screen due to some of the witticisms. Thicken up that skin and drive right in! It's a great learning experience!
They say the only stupid questions are those not asked. This sight proves that to be FALSE! Sorry!
I just had to say it Buddah, I couldn't help myself!!!!
