Does humanity have a goal? Where is it heading?

Our humanistic goal is to keep improving the quality and happiness of life for human beings. Our instinctual goal is for reproduction and survival.

like, ninja. though i think, being a hair splitter, reproduction and survival are more of a cellular command. not being a hair splitter, you nailed two major factors with that. :)

I would say to keep our species alive and at about 7 billion people on Earth I say we're doing pretty good right now.

Everyone in humanity has a separate goal, some stopping others from reaching their own goal, or allowing others to finish theirs.

maybe every separate person has a goal and some people might share the same goal, but humanity as a whole shouldn't unless everyone in the world got together and had a meeting that nobody told me about.....

I think humanity's goal is to survive. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing isn't really addressed.
