It didn't have to be put that way, period. You can give someone the most terrible news, but deliver it in a certain way and it can make a true difference. I absolutely cannot believe the answers people are putting on here. Where are the feelings? Has everyone's heart been hardened to things like this? Oh, Lord, I'm just sick at some of these answers and this one now is nothing compared to what others I've seen. I'm sorry, but I just don't see the reason to be so harsh.

Yeah, Sarte, that's evident. But, what goes around comes around. And you may think you're the type that doesn't need "coddling"; however, you're probably not very old and you never know what life's got in store for you. I'm not going to argue with you. I'm through.

Go to your doctor, start monitoring your health, get prenatal vitamins.

And NO the doctor thing should NOT be optional.

wow i read the answers and people really give bad advice! don't abort that baby because you'll regret it later in life! just keep it or give it up for adoption but if you give it up for adoption it will have mental problems and will look for you when it grows up! my mom was adopted and it ruined her life!

first off you need to set up a doctor appointment and then maybe buy a book and look online and get all the info your going to need to know to be a great parent. Also set up a appointment to get wic so your baby is getting the nutrition it needs. The doctors will tell you everything else you need to know. In the meantime try not to stress and be happy :)

great recommendation for WIC, if you decide to go through with the pregnancy, keep yourself healthy for the baby, be a good mom, put the baby first, always!

Oh, Taylor, honey, I don't know what to say to you after seeing all these cruel answers. I literally have tears running down my face. Please report these as offense to you and the mods will take them off. And, please, please whatever you do, don't even give thought to the idiot that told you to abort that precious baby. Honey, what you do is see a doctor to get the best care for you and that baby that you can. I know you're whole life has been turned upside-down and inside-out and you're so overwhelmed you can't stand it. But others younger than you have had this happen and have gotten through it. And so can you. I've got to go to an appt. right now and I don't want to leave and, needless to say where I've made some comments to people, they're making comments back, which I'll probably ignore because it's not worth fighting over. I feel as I feel. But when I get back, if you're still on here and want to talk, I'd love to.

Too open ended. Do as in what? Have the baby? Adoption? See a doctor first. Get on prenatal vitamins and go from there. Take care of yourself.

I'm sure you have a million and one things going through your mind concerning your options. Maybe whether or not to marry the baby's father, abortion or adoption. Despite the adverse circumstances, you do have the opportunity to nurture and raise your child. Speaking from experience, mend your relationship with God (Psalm 32:5), cease engaging in premarital sex (1 Thessalonians 4:3,4), tell your parents, show your appreciation for their help (Colossians 3:5), learn parenting skills, handle your money wisely (Ecclesiastes 7:12) and try to get some education (Proverbs 10:14). With patience, determination and God's help you can find joy and be successful.
