See Caluvox above for the correct answer. It is believed that dinosaurs became extinct due to a huge asteroid hit in the area of the Gulf of Mexico.

the ice age happened after a meteor crashed causing the extinction of dinosaurs and all of the dust in the air from the meteor caused the ice age to happen so to answer your question: no

There have been lots of ice ages throughout the history of the planet. The last one ended about 20.000 years ago, while the dinosaurs disappeared 65 million years ago.

There have been five major "ice ages" (the first 2.4 billion years ago and last and current one 2.6 million years ago) and other smaller ones during the 4.6 billion year history of the Earth, but none came at a time, or were severe enough, to cause the extinction of dinosaurs. One ice age 460 million years ago did cause mass extinction, but life forms were still rudimentary at that time. Dinosaurs suddenly died out about 250 million years ago when, it is believed, that a large asteroid or meteor hit the Earth in the area of what is now the Gulf of Mexico.
