(Please no rude comments) Are Guardian Angels real? Why doesn't my Guardian Angel speak, whenever I try to speak to them?

I do believe in God and Jesus both, but I'm actually starting to lose my belief in him. I try to speak to my Guardian Angel, but he/she does not speak at all. All I hear is dead silence. It's very frustrating. Am I missing something, maybe?

Are Guardian Angels real?

Entities can speak to us through a variety of ways, and direct speech in and of itself is probably not all that common. I would suggest learning more about meditation and trance state and then trying again.

They are probably not real. That doesn't mean there aren't people who can give you guidance and protection, though. Or that you can't be a "guardian angel" for someone else who needs it.

Guardian angels are real. But like Tony737 said, they're a mystery. I've actually met a few people who have seen angels before. But it's not like you can just say, "Hey angel! Where are ya?!" and they'll appear.

I think a guardian angel is someone who cared for you, like a close family member that passed away. So Yes, to me, they are real.

There is no evidence that guardian angels or in fact any angels are real. It's not even Scriptural, if you believe in that sort of thing.

I would rely on the real people who care about you to guide you, people you trust.

A little confused with your saying they aren't sciptural. They are mentioned in the scriptures around 500 times throughout.

yes, Guardian Angels are real. God, Jesus, and our guardian angels do speak to us. My Uncle sits quietly alone and prays then after he has prayed, he quietly waits (some would say meditates) then says he opens the Bible and is "guided" to a passage or passages.

i pray, then wait and listen. sometimes it is days or weeks before i get an answer, and sometimes the answer is not what i wanted, but i do get an answer. i may read something, hear a song, see a sign, or sometimes somebody comes to me and after we have spoken, i know that God sent them, because without my asking, they answered my prayer.

the trick is that you need to listen with your heart, not your ears, and you need to be able to accept that sometimes the answer is "no."

sometimes it helps to talk to someone else, sometimes you can write your feelings in a diary, or sing your favorite song at the top of your lungs.

remember that we are given bad times so we can recognize and appreciate the good times. nothing stays bad forever, and things will get better even though it doesn't feel like it right now. just don't give up on yourself or your beliefs.

good luck

I'm no expert, but sometimes you'll feel like there is no one watching over you, but they are. If God gave everyone an easy life, we would not grow, we would not learn to be who we are. I guess that's just my opinion though. It's hard to put your faith in something you can't see, hear or touch. But we can't see wind but we know it's there. We can't hear or touch Love but we know it's real.Either way, they are there whenever you want or need them to be. Just try keeping that in mind.

Christians aren't the ones aborting babies. I guess abortion rights supporters are insane, too, based on your mindless comment.

The only clear delineation is birth, wiseguy. One side truly cares for people during the nine months they incubate, and want nothing to do with them once they pop out. The other side cares for people. Cares for women. Cares for woman's rights. Shockingly, the latter is typically unreligious.

I have one and it only speaks to me when there is a reason, such as nearby danger. When I was in kindergarten We weren't taught the Stranger Danger kids are taught today. One day two men tried to trick me into getting in their truck. I heard a voice in my head telling me to run. I did and the next thing I know is their were cops at my house questioning me and a school investigation going as well..

Another time I was on my way home from work and I was nearly out of gas. As I looked at the gas station I heard that voice again. It told me to go straight home. I was thinking I would never make it home and back to work without stopping for gas. (there weren't any other gas stations along the way). The voice said " Go home and you will be safe. You will have enough gas." I went home, changed clothes, and turned on the news. There was breaking news about a murder at that gas station.

I am happy when I don't hear from my guardian angel. It means I am safe.

Not in dreams, but there have been other times. I got lost while traveling alone, and it guided me back to the road I needed to be on. And other smaller things like that. There is twice in my life I didn't listen, let's just say that won't happen again.

Angels are real. Guardian angels not so much. God is our 'Guardian' and He doesnt need help. And He has made it very clear we arent supposed to commune with any being besides Himself/Christ. Angels are mostly heavenly messengers. They certainly arent the way you seem to want them to be - personal genies at your beck and call ready to appear and do your bidding every time you call like they were your personal slave or something. They certainly do not speak in audible voices. They are spirit beings. And you cant summon them at your will. If you need to talk to someone talk to God/Jesus. I can almost guarantee better results (still no audible boices tho. Not how heavenly beings operate).

I like to think that each person has a guardian angel, yes there are DEFINITELY angels, we just don't know whether there is that whole thing of one for each person. I think the reason that we don't usually see or talk to angels, is because God wants us to fellowship with him, and worship him, not begin to talk to and worship angels, because he is the creator of the universe, while angels are like us in the way that the follow God.

The Bible clearly teaches that we aren't to worship angels or pray to them. After God used an angel to reveal to the apostle John what was going to happen in the future, John's first reaction was to fall down and worship the angel. The angel, however, immediately rebuked him: "But he said to me, 'Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets. ... Worship God!'" (Revelation 22:9). Only God is worthy of our worship, and nothing else must be allowed to take His place. Jesus said (quoting the Old Testament), "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only" (Matthew 4:10). Angels were created by God (just as we were), and only our Creator is worthy of our adoration. We also aren't to pray to angels-and we don't need to! Jesus Christ has opened heaven's door to us, and we have direct access to the Father through Him (see Hebrews 4:14-16). Put your trust and faith in Christ alone for your salvation, for He alone is God's appointed Savior.

I think God is using His angels all the time, we just can't see them. Or, we probably do way more than we realize, because they most likely appear as people. "Be careful who you entertain because you may be entertaining angels." ANd, we very well may each have a guardian angel. But, it doesn't really say in scripture, except for kids. :) (could mean all of us) But, God doesn't tell us to call upon them. He says, "My sheep know my voice." It doesn't say we are to know their voices. You have to trust God in this.

The Scriptures do not teach that each person on earth has a guardian angel. We pray in confidence that “no matter what it is that we ask according to his will, [God] hears us.” (1 John 5:14) Of course, Jehovah could send an angel to assist us, but help may come in a different manner. Fellow Christians may be motivated to provide help and comfort. God may give us the wisdom and inner strength needed to cope with “a thorn in the flesh” that afflicts us as if we were being slapped by “an angel of Satan.”—2 Cor. 12:7-10; 1 Thess. 5:14.
