grass is good for cats to eat but let me tell you this my friends dog was eating grass and throw up so i think it's good for cats and it's bad for dogs

Cats actually eat grass to help themselves throw up sometimes-big cats do this to help them throw up the excess parts-bones, fur, ect.

It's not bad for them unless it becomes a habit. Because firstly they could start eating garden plants or others, and secondly it wouldn't be good for them to eat a lot. But as long as they don't do it excessively it's okay.
