There are some words that are greatly overworked on Ask. Sarcastic is one of them. Rude is another. Hate, or hater, is yet another.
None of the following remarks may apply to you but they certainly apply to many posters on Ask.
When children and adults share the same web site there is sometimes confusion about what is said or what is meant. What somebody with a little experience would accept. as humour or irony, a younger person might interpret as sarcasm. When somebody has a different viewpoint to you, and they express it, they're not being rude and they're note being hateful.
Ask is a wonderful melting pot where kids can get in and mix it with adults and put their own point of view as strongly as they wish -- always keeping within the community guidelines, of course.
A lot of adult humour, the very best, I think, is very dry and it takes a little experience to understand it. Ask is your opportunity to learn that and to join in.
There are lots of rude and sarcastic people in the real world too.
Don't take anything too seriously, specially on a site like this. Have fun and learn as much as you can. The one's you can't learn anything from just disregard it. Paying attention to nonsense will only waste your time.
