Did God create mankind with the inclination to turn against Him as the Bible story indicates? Why?
I see more sense in saying God created mankind exactly as he wanted us to be so we never turned away from what he wanted and he never had to kill off his creation in a flood because they weren't what he wanted. But, that is the opposite of the "we are sinners who need salvation" theory presented in the Bible. I think God knew his creation would struggle and grow and learn and get better and he wanted that, so salvation from sin is just a myth that has nothing to do with God. How do you defend the Bible story and give God the credit he deserves for creating what he wanted?
