get him a cute little teddy bear or doll that says i love daddy or a piece of baby clothing that says something about the dad and put it in a gift bag and leave it for him to find when he leaves to work or gets home from work? i got a little matching sweater, pants, and little shoes of duckies and put it in a gift bag and left it for him on our bed to find when he got home from work and when he saw it he was like :O !!! no way!!! xD he was really happy and we still have those little pieces of clothes and our baby girl is 1 year and 6 month already and by the way : CONGRATS!!!! goodluck with your pregnancy and the birth of your little one! :)
You could stuff a big pillow under your shirt and tell him this is what I'm going to look like in 9 months. Or have your 1st child make a cute hand made card that says "Daddy I'm going to be a big brother/sister.
Don't say anything about it. If the 2 of you watch TV or a movie when the 1st is asleep.or whatever you do, start eating weird things Serve ice cream, in yours toss a few pickles see how long it takes him to figure it out.
Cute proposals are cool but as a guy and a father I agree with just be strait with him. My wife was and just hearing the words coming from her was the coolest thing that's ever happened in my life. Your in for a ride girl! Congratulations and god bless!!!

I saw a few things on PinInterest.com....they were mostly announcing to their families but you could tweak.......one was a picture of a couple holding a sign that read 'coming soon'. Or make a T-shirt using sticky felt. Super easy, just use an old T-shirt or, even better, a nightgown/sleep-shirt! Cut out a large 2 and adhere to shirt or nightgown.... Or get your first child a shirt with Big Brother or sister..... Have fun and CONGRATS,!
Prepare him an Italian dinner, and let him check the "bun(s) 4 in the oven. Set the dinner table for 4, and let him guess "Who's coming for dinner?" Play "Can't Help Myself" by the Four Tops. Nothing wrong with a little "----play" before dessert. :)
I found out I was pregnant, right before Valentines Day. I had already seen the Dr. So I had a Ultra sound picture. I bought my husband and my parents a Valentines Day cards, and put copies of the ultra sound in the cards. They loved it, and had something to see of what was to come in 8 months
With my second baby, I wrapped up and gave my firstborn a copy of the Berenstain Bears book New Baby and a homemade T shirt that said "I'm the BIG Brother!", and had husband "help" him open it.Took him a minute to figure it out as it slowly dawned on him. It was Christmas time, conveniently, but hey, Valentine's Day is a nice little excuse for a present!
my husband collects elephant statues, I found one that was a big elephant holding a baby... I wrapped it up and gave it to him. at first he thought it was cute, but then he put 2+2 together and was very happy....
Buy your husbands favorite childhood book. Inside the cover write a note saying, "To the most important guy in my life, I love you so much. You'll never know how much you mean to me. We are always going to be together. Love always, Baby Jones (or whatever the last name of the baby is)" Then write, "P.S. can't wait to meet you 6/12, and have you read this to me!" It'll be cuter if your more creative than me. <3
make a wonderful supper ( his favorite ) and set a beautiful table. serve the meal and casually add a third place setting. he'll probably ask ' who's coming for dinner ?" place a jar of baby food on the place setting. just smile and nod.
buy some diapers, when he looks at you confused say, "oh my gosh sweetie, i forgot to tell you... we're pregnant"... good luck, you're super sweet for asking, and he's super lucky to have you. (you're little one too!!!)
get a small sign or poster and hang it at the door so when he walks in from work or whereever he went when he left, hell walk right into and read whatevr it says..ex. "congrats" with baby stuff bordering it or "its a baby"... just something like that
Congratulations!! I just told my partner about my pregnancy, too! ;))) This is my first though. What my sister did with her second was she suggested a house cleanup and when her husband went to give away/ put all the baby stuff into storage (ex the highchair) she said wait, we're gonna need that soon ;) and he was like what? yay! or... you could make him pancakes like in the vow and write with blueberrys or syrup the baby's due date

When my wife told me the second time that she was pregnant, she asked me, You like big breasted women women right, Of course I was not sure if I should answer the truth and say yes and before I answered to her as she caught me of guard, she said ....Well you will like me even more in a few months.... it took me about 3 seconds to figure it out as she waited for my reaction with a big beautiful smile raising her eyebrows up and down, gave her the biggest of all hugs and a kiss and took her to dinner that night to celebrate. I will never forget her beautiful smile. it was in 2009 and still when I remember that day it makes me smile again, I'm smiling right now just thinking about it. she was so funny and playful. I love you Honey!!
