Actually, it's better than it was centuries ago. In the past, terrible things happened or were done, and nobody cared. Nobody thought times were bad because they felt these things were quite all right to do.
Today, fewer of these terrible things actually happen, but we have learned as a species how wrong it is to do them or ignore them, so it SEEMS more terrible. We learn slowly, but we DO learn. Keep speaking up about bad things that you hear of. If there is an action you can take, take it. Keep the ball rolling. Don't let people to go back to ignoring the bad stuff.

So much in details I could say and talk about why the world is the way it is, but would be a waste of perfect precious time to even try and explain it all to you. But will say this much about this supposing wonderful world we live in yet mysterious, strange, cold, and cruel anyways people just seem to find an interest of letting money greed get to them, obsession with tradition, mediocrity, dishonesty, self delusion, and with the youth now being despicable little brats that ain't helping making the world better just worse and more deprived each passing day and dangerous too with all of it's stupid oblivious people of today's fine society....
