What kind of meat goes into a gyro? Is that lamb or a blend of meats? They usually shave it off those big hunks of meat.
If you go to a true gyro place it's lamb. And the first time I found out what kind of meat it was I almost threw up... Lmao. A traditional gyro is indeed lamb though.
I always heard it's lamb ......but there might be others blended in.
Depends. Usually it is lamb, beef, or a blend of both. Some people make chicken gyros.
beef, lamb or chicken. Usually the gyro maker asks you which. Or at least that's what my gyro guy does.
It depends on where you go or if you make it your self
At gondoliers which is a Italian restaurant here it's lamb. They have the best gyro!
Traditionally it's lamb.
