2008 chevy impala. Rear defrost doesn't work. How do you go about fixing it? Fuse, relayor what?

First you need to put a ohm meter across the connecting terminal to check for continuity of defrost coil, if you get a reading then the coil is okay, next carefully inspect the coil for hairline breaks if you find any then the coil needs to be replaced. If that's okay check the fuse.

Could be anything. Did you use an abrasive cleaner on the inside? Get it to the dealer for a professional repair.
