How do i reject my best friend who's madly in love with me?

Tell them that you don't want to ruin your friendship, that staying just friends has a better guarantee of lasting for a longer time.

"Reject" ??? Let him down gently by explaining you are just not interested in him in 'that' way. If he is your friend ... then treat him like a friend. Be honest ..be firm .. but be kind.

Tell your best friend he is your best friend and you appreciate that relationship.However, that is as far as it can go, because you are too busy to start any serious relationship with the demands of school and [work] if you have a job. He will be fine.

whatever you say you are going to hurt him, so if I were you I would tell him that a relationship with him at this point is not going to benefit neither one of you. That you much rather have him as a friend than to have him as a boyfriend and then break up and never see each other again because it wasn't meant to work.

Just say that you like him but not like he thinks tell him instead you'd just want to be friends also add that if they fight they you to won't have a friendship anymore

Tell him/her that you don't want to take it that far and you just want to stick friends. Because if you guys date and break up there's no going back to being friends

oh boy that can really be hard..

hard on you and mostly hard on him... you could hurt him deeply(emotionally)

here what you could do to avoid losing that friend and hurting him the less you could..:
1.invite him to some place (cafe,restaurant,school...) where you keep your privacy.
2.don't go hard on him...tell him how good friends you are and bring the subject slowly
3.after reaching the subject, tell him that you just don't wanna mess up the friendly relationship with him by ..and understand his feelings (its very very hard to be rejected)
4.keep in touch ...don't make him feel that you cut him off your life!

WARNING : if you skipped these steps he may hate you ...maybe he will stalk you ..
