Are there any other ladies with this problem?

Let's just say all my life I've never been lacking in the chest area! mine are such a burden especially being a dentist I'm all the time apologizing to people! I have to lean over them to see in their mouth and it never fails I'll be cleaning braces of a 16 year old boy and he starts smiling! and we all know why. I've considered reduction but because they don't give me back problems or any problems other than being in the way insurance won't pay for the surgery and we all know what the husband thinks about me getting rid of them. does anyone have tips on I don't know how to put this "maintaining them"?

My Daizy would have preferred smaller breasts too but, short of surgery, you're stuck with them. A sports bra may help to a certain extent but, particularly as you lean over your patient, they're going to get in the way whatever you do. The last thing you need is to strap them up as though they were in a girdle.

Stop apologizing for your body. Women should understand and men are unlikely to complain. You may be making things worse because apologizing draws attention to the contact. My only suggestion would be to find the bra that gives you the most support and avoid revealing necklines.

At least you won't have to tell the boys to keep their mouths open ...

Hi. And the sports bra vote wins by a landslide! I knew I could count on you to make me smile 1/2 across the world. I can guarantee it's not because of your chest, but because you can put things into prespective in a funny sort of way! Thanks for the smile!

Daizy's had the same problem, Merlin, except that she's not a dentist. She did do some work as a massage therapist but mostly with women. She's very matter-of-fact and simply ignored any contact that was made. Nobody ever complained or commented and she never told me of any problems. And she would have, with a smile.

Humans are fickle sort of beasts. We seem to think the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Personally, I'm just happy I have two that are just about average for my size and I don't have breast cancer. I count my blessings on this one for sure.

For sure.

Mine are covered with feathers but they still "exhibit" themselves......

I don't know about the sports bra. They always make me have a uni-boob....like those ladies in the 1800s that wanted the pigeon-breast look.

Never mind the 1800s, I know a couple like that even now. Mind you they're both very old and very stuck in the mud.

Wear a minimizer bra or a sport bra. The Genie bra is a great product, too.

I would definitely suggest a sports bra. .I mean, those things are supposed to keep your b00bies in place when you're running and doing other exercises. As for the 16 year old boy staring at them, well, he's young so you have to cut him some slack.

Yeah I have the same problem and I'm only 14... It's very creepy when 40 year old guys stare at me.. They aren't huge, but they're big for a 14 year old .. Try wearing a sports bra or something.

Hi. My dear friend in high school had a similar problem. She had a very short back and long legs .. and very top heavy. She didn't become a dentist, nor did she join the track team, but we did ride horses together. What she did to help the bounce was a wide ace bandage. This way she could adjust it to suit her needs. I'm sure this is similar to the sports bra idea, but easier to take on and off. Another idea would be to wear really busy earrings. Something so people won't stare. Also, maybe change the height of your chair if you sit down. It may make it more comfortable for you. Good Luck!

Those earrings just might help. It's not something I'd have thought of.

I understand and would not suggest a sports bra, yet make an investment in a bra minimizer. This will help distribute your chest without feeling smashed. Along with that, I would suggest finding blouses with a higher neck line or use layering. Good luck.
