What do you guys think of this tattoo idea?

So here is what I have come up with, something that I think is unique and personal to me in sooo many ways at the same time. I just don't know if it will all fit on a full sleeve....I was thinking of having myself (but maybe looking a little differently, somehow lol) kicking the grim reapers ***, then somewhere on the sleeve having roses pink/red and as well as a memorial to my grandma who just passed....maybe having her overlooking the whole scene from above? As far as why I'm kicking the Grim Reapers *** is simply because about 6 years ago I was diagnosed with an illness that the doctors said there was a 90-95% chance I would not survive and yet here I am, with a clean bill of health! I'm just not sure if it would all fit.....

It also seems like you are getting revenge for your grandma. Make sure its a good artist. You don't want the faces to be messed up.

Well I think it can be occasionally... like I've heard that the procedure needed to get rid of the tattoo doesn't always work, but I may have heard wrong.

In my opinion, I think that this is actually a good idea. A tattoo generally tends to bring out a personal attachment or experience. Therefore, as long as the tattoo holds a symbolism to you, it is still a good idea.

I admire your idea and I'm glad the doctors were wrong! I think you should do something different than a tattoo for many reasons but a few over time it fades and stretches it will become old out of style and stuck on you. I'm sure you can get it erased but I hear it doesn't always come off so good luck in what ever you decide :)

Why not use your survival to help others. Become a spokesperson for the disease you overcame. Why not get a small tat in recognition of your grandma & find a condensed symbol that would stand for your fight to survive. After all your battle is a personal triumph & a large tat will have you explain it's meaning to every Tom Dick & Harry rather than to an audience who may well benefit from your life's health experience.

Not sure exactly where you live, but there's a decent place for tattoo's on Vancouver Island, called Ink Nation, it's in Courtney 5'th St. The specific Artist's name is Van, he does some pretty fine work and always cleans his needles. But over all the idea sounds pretty awesome, good luck mate!

Tats are forever, remember that, crossed guns with smoking barrels.Or you could be real cool and save your money and let the others suckers fork out for tats that they think are cool.
