Why do people let themselves get so upset over things that don't matter at all? When there are real problems in the world. REALITY CHECK.

Like your boyfriend/girlfriend breaking up with you. Sure, bummer.
(but it really doesn't matter, and it's not at ALL a big deal.)
So why do people let themselves get so upset?
Can they just not get over it?
Not trying to be insensitive, but seriously.
There's so many actual terrible things going on in the world, and people these days feel the need to cry over ANYTHING.
I'd just like to know why, is this generation perhaps weak?
Or do they just feel better by being overemotional over things so pointless.

Well, one reason is that sometimes small things become 'big' to some, so they get sensitive about that.
But we should note that different things are of different importance rate. And something important shouldn't keep us from paying attention to something less important, but still important.
