if something was found IN the original location which gave clear and compelling evidence of the new location, yes. For example, if at the first location they found your 'to do list' of: 1. Throw away gun, 2. Bury bloody clothes at Garage. 3. Go shopping for new clothes. This would give them the evidence to continue the search ( at the second location).
