Did Firestone(Norwich,Ct.) really do an oil change on my 2001 Subaru Forester?

IO checked out my oil on the next day(1/6/13),and it looked like they didn't.
However,it looked like the completely changed my radiator fluid. I didn't ask for that, but maybe they did it as an extra courtesy. I would like somebody from Firestone to check into this.

my mother used to take her car to sears for oil changes then less than a month later her car would need oil, we suspected the men in charge of the oil changes were on a time schedule and they was NOT doing their jobs and yet my mother was paying all that money for nothing...we will never take our car to another place where we cannot watch what is being done for now on...

Some cars do use oil. Most new cars will drink some oil when getting broken in. Some engine designs will burn lots of oil once the car is old and lots of miles.

If you are suspecting that the Firestone Norwich,CT did not perform as you had requested, then you need to contact them and let them know. You can also drive there and let them confirm the services they performed on your vehicle. If they did not, then they will carry out the services.

I bet they did change your oil. If your old oil was real nasty, then the new oil will look black real fast, even more so if they didn't change the filter. Not all car companies require a filter at each change. Not sure on Subaru.

My Grandpa would mark my Grandmother's air filter with a little mark and they(not going to say name) would "Change" the filter, but he'd get the car home and the filter was the old one. Talk about someone mad. I don't think your 2001 Subaru is a Diesel, but know that a diesel car's oil will be totally black again after running for about 1-min after the oil is freshly changed.
