There are a lot of nice puppies out there. I know you're really attached to this one, but you need to resolve your living situation before looking at any puppies.

You need to talk to the owner of the apartment and request him or her to keep the pet. Then, wait for the response. Alternatively, you can move out and find an apartment that allows keeping of pets.

Ask the owner or the landlord for permission. Even offer a lumpy pet deposit to keep the pet

It's easier to find a new puppy than a place to live. You'll have plenty of time to have a pet. Stay where you're at.

I would totally give up the apartment for the perfect puppy. The choice is yours.

Boy, I tell you, I can sure understand how you feel. I've been without a dog for 10 yrs and have REALLY missed it. They're WONDERFUL companions. I'm sorry that you've found the perfect puppy right now, at the wrong time. You can't cheat on this. You can't get the puppy now. What if you got it, loved it, then had to get rid of it. That would even be worse!
Unless you can move, or the landlord makes some special agreement with you (and your parents agree), you're going to have to wait. But while you're waiting, go to friends houses often and get a "dog-fix" to help until such time as you can get your own...

The problem is not the dwelling with the "no pet" rule ... The problem is that you chose to live there ... Knowing that was a rule. If you want a pet, I would suggest to start looking for a more suitable living accommodation. Changing your mind about the terms or breaking the rules you already accepted, is not an option.
